ALC1000S Variable Frequency & Voltage Regulating Power Supply with Load Bank and DC Component Waveform Test Unit
In precision testing scenarios for electronic appliances, motors, aerospace and military equipment as well as testing laboratories, conventional power supplies fail to meet the requirements of complex tests involving waveforms with DC components. Composed of the ALC1000S variable frequency & voltage regulating power supply and a load bank, this integrated waveform test unit with DC component testing function has become a professional comprehensive testing solution in the industry thanks to its mature technical structure, full-featured configuration and reliable operating performance. It is widely applied in multiple processes including product R&D, factory inspection, life aging test and operating condition simulation.
The core of the unit is the ALC1000S series variable frequency & voltage regulating power supply. Adopting SPWM high-frequency pulse width modulation and DDS direct digital frequency synthesis technology, it outputs pure sine waveforms with a frequency stability up to 0.01%, perfectly suited for various waveform testing applications. The power supply supports continuous adjustment over a wide range of voltage and frequency. It features two voltage ranges: 0-150V (low range) and 0-300V (high range) with an adjustment step of 0.1V. The standard output frequency ranges from 45Hz to 120Hz, with an optional 40Hz-500Hz band. An ultra-wide frequency range of 10Hz-1000Hz and a maximum output voltage up to 2000VAC can be customized for special applications, to flexibly adapt to tested products of different specifications. Equipped with an embedded intelligent monitoring system and standard RS232C communication interface (GPIB interface optional), the device delivers a command response time less than 10ms. Combined with the load bank, it enables automatic linkage control of the entire system.
A standout advantage of this complete unit is its capability to test sine half-wave current and various waveforms containing DC components, which makes up for the deficiency of ordinary AC power supplies that cannot detect waveforms with DC offset. The ALC1000S power supply boasts ultra-high measurement accuracy, with the precision of voltage, current and power all reaching 0.5% FS+5dgt. Matched with a professional load bank, it can accurately simulate diverse load conditions such as no-load, full-load, overload and short circuit, and fully reproduce complex waveforms during actual equipment operation. Featuring excellent dynamic response, the power supply achieves a settling time within 20ms under 100% load on and off, and can withstand 3 times the rated current instantaneously. Combined with the load simulation function of the load bank, it can accurately evaluate the operational stability and anti-interference capability of tested equipment under impact load and DC component interference.
In terms of safety and practicality, the ALC1000S is integrated with multiple protection functions including over-voltage, over-current, overload, short circuit and over-temperature protection. Electrical isolation between input and output effectively prevents equipment damage and potential safety hazards during tests. The device is built with 3 sets of parameter memory to store frequently used voltage, frequency and current settings. After presetting load parameters on the load bank, the entire test scheme can be activated with one click, greatly improving the efficiency of batch testing. Fitted with a high-definition display screen, the unit real-timely presents core data such as RMS voltage, current, active power, frequency and power factor. Together with the parameter feedback from the load bank, all test data is clearly displayed for easy recording and analysis.
This full-range test unit is available in multiple power ratings from 6KVA to 450KVA. Adopting forced air cooling, it can operate stably for a long time in non-condensing high humidity environments at 0-45℃, with insulation and voltage resistance performance complying with strict industrial standards. It is ideal for testing export electrical appliances, motor compressors, on-board chargers and fluorescent lamp rectifiers, and also meets the testing requirements of 400Hz dedicated power supplies for aerospace and military systems. It serves as an optimal testing device for EMC laboratories, electronic manufacturers and military research institutes. From routine performance testing to complex waveform analysis with DC components, and from individual product R&D tests to batch aging on production lines, this all-in-one unit delivers high stability, superior precision and strong compatibility, laying a solid technical foundation for quality control of various power electronic products.
